Losingyourjob.ie consists of 8 categories, including categories on working reduced hours, leaving work and redundancy, social welfare payments, education and training options and going back to work.
This website is now available on the internet and can be found at www.losingyourjob.ie
It is based on content from www.citizensinformation.ie
The Citizens Information Board's Benefits and Taxes publications for 2009 are now available in print and to download. The group of publications includes:
- A Benefits and Taxes 2009 booklet (pdf) in three sections. Section 1 outlines changes in 2009 and includes brief explanations of new initiatives such as the income levy and the cycle to work scheme. Section 2 brings together benefits and taxes of particular interest to specific groups including older people, people with disabilities, carers, families and farmers. Section 3 provides comprehensive tables of rates and income thresholds in both 2008 and 2009.
- A summary Benefits and Taxes leaflet (pdf) which is widely available in Citizens Information Centres.
- A Benefits and Taxes wallchart (pdf) for quick reference.
The booklet can be provided in alternative formats, such as audio, braille, large print or on CD, on request
